Photo Organizing Education
My love of photography runs pretty deep. When I’m not photographing weddings and families in Southwest Florida, I’m teaching, speaking, and advocating for photography, too.
After Hurricane Ian devastated Southwest Florida, I saw firsthand how vulnerable our photos really are. I stepped in to help people salvage flood-damaged photographs, but it quickly became clear that the bigger need was education, helping people proactively protect and organize the pictures that matter most.
That work has led to national news coverage, more podcast interviews than I can count, a book, courses, and opportunities to speak on national stages. The best part of all, though, has been meeting thousands of people who love photographs the same way I do.
Today, I lead a large online community of people who simply love photography. Sometimes we talk about practical ways to keep photos safe. Most of the time, I share my genuine love of photographs with like-minded people. You can check out my Instagram community at this link.
