In addition to wedding coverage throughout Florida, Karla is an experienced destination wedding photographer, having photographed weddings in Mexico, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St. John, Bahamas, The Caribbean, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Chicago.
Since entering the field over 10 years ago, Krista Kowalczyk has offered her unique creativity and vision to hundreds of weddings and portraits. Krista has since become one of the most respected wedding photographers in South Florida and is quickly becoming recognized far beyond her local area. Her company, Impressions Photography, has been commissioned to photograph weddings from Mexico to Canada and throughout the United States. Her and her creative team enjoy bringing their distinctive perspective to weddings throughout the world.

Photographer, Mike Owen, along with second photographer, Tiffany Nara, share a gift for creative imagery. Their talent sets them apart from many in the industry. Photographers, Krista, Mike and Tiffany all share the same life long devotion to photography and the arts. All have a similar creative style and passion for contemporary photography. Since coming together at Impressions Photography, they have each continued to expand their eduction, keeping up on the latest in style and technique. They also inspire one another to create new and unique images. Outside of Impressions Photography they maintain a close friendship. Krista Kowalczyk, Head Photographer
Krista’s formal training is in commercial photography. She earned her bachelors degree in photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York in 1997.
Photography has been a life long passion for Krista. She developed a love for the medium at a very young age and has since always kept her camera close by. She began shooting portraits professionally at the age of 16, while still in high school. Krista has also worked as an editorial photographer with assignments including photographing sideline for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. She began photographing weddings while studying photography in New York. She found she enjoyed the beauty and emotion that she would capture at these events. Krista choose to make wedding photography her career. She started her own business just after graduating college and has devoted the past 10 years to creating breathtaking images while establishing herself as a notable photographer within the industry.
Mike Owen, Photographer
Mike’s background is in photojournalism. His accomplishments include an extensive list of awards for black and white photography, landscape and photojournalism. His breathtaking portfolio contains a collection of images taken during Mike’s extensive travels throughout the world. Mike most recently brought his talent to wedding photography. As a visually creative person, it was a natural transition. He has since had the opportunity to photograph weddings throughout the United States and the Caribbean. Mike is quickly becoming sought after for his unique contemporary style and upbeat personality.
Tiffany Nara, Second Photographer
Tiffany began her college career at Florida State University, but soon realized that her true calling was photography. She transferred to The Art Institute of Atlanta where she could devote her education to photography and pursue her dream of becoming a professional photographer. After leaving The Art Institute she returned to her home town of Fort Myers and joined Impressions. Tiffany's talent along with her fun loving personality made her a perfect fit for the Impressions Team. Tiffany has spent the past six months working alongside Krista and Mike as the second photographer, learning the Impressions style.
